After finishing off everything today from last weeks CSA, I walked back up to Almanac Market to get week two's stockpile. They hand you two boxes, one with your share, and the others is a swap box which you can change out one item for another. This week I subbed out a bunch of scallions for another head of green oak leaf lettuce. The rest of this list looks something like this:
1 bag wrinkle-crinkle or Persian broadleaf cress – certified organic – Back 40 Ranch
1 bunch scallions – certified organic – Bellview Organics and Plum Hill Organics
1 bunch garlic scapes – certified organic – Life Enhancing Acres
1 bunch Lacinato kale – certified organic – Goshen View Organics
1 bag baby lettuce mix – certified organic – Farmdale Organics
3 heads green oak leaf lettuce – certified organic – Back 40 Ranch
1 pkg white mushrooms – certified organic – Mother Earth Mushrooms – 8 oz
Then I cut up a beet we bought the other day.
For dinner I made kale wraps with carrots, beets, onions, garlic scapes, cashew cream, nooch, sriracha, with a soy/ginger dipping sauce.
Lauren made a big salad using the baby lettuce mix, some beets, carrots, pine nuts, nooch, and the end of our raw ginger dressing.

That is odd. I have not yet gotten my list of what I will be seeing in mine today. Hmmmm....Hope it is as good as yours!
I really hope we start getting more stuff than just lettuce. As much as I love a bunch of lettuce, I hate feeling like I have to eat it at every meal so it doesn't go bad.
That looks so yummy!
I'm not a fan of raw kale, but the wrap sounds so good! Maybe I should give raw kale another try.
Wow, all those greens look amazing! I wish we had such an abundance to choose from. Enjoy them.
