our apartment!

finally, apartment pictures! but before you see them, a couple of things. first off, our apartment is still a mess, and not that organized. second off, we still need to hang all the art, but i think we are going to hang bikes along some walls, so we need to figure that out first.

so this is our backyard/parking spot. the empty spot is where we park, the other car is our upstairs neighbors. we still have a lot of yard space even with two cars back there. next summer eric and i are going to garden out here.
backyard/parking

from the backyard, you walk up some stairs and our deck is on your left. imagine a table top on those table legs, because that is how it is supposed to look.
deck

and then you walk through the door into our foyer! to the left is where our washer and dryer are. then there are two other doors on the left, one goes upstairs, to the neighbors, the other goes downstairs, to the restaurant.
foyer

and you walk straight into our kitchen/office!

that door is our front door.

from the kitchen you walk straight into the living room, the only room with a working fireplace.
living room

the floors are really old in here. like 150 years old.

and from the living room you walk straight into the bedroom.

so it's still a work in progress, but it's coming along!

I love the layout of your kitchen. I want a kitchen that you can fit a big table like that in the middle.

Must suck not having a bathroom, though!

It looks great. I can't wait to see it in person. I like the tire table in the corner.

So cute. Now I want to come down to Philly for the day when I visit NYC in October! Hrm. I'm gonna think about it.
